Frequently asked questions
Clean Report has completed its core feature set and is being prepared for release. The guidance below reflects the current tested version.
Where is report data stored?
Reports and app-stored photos remain locally on your device by default and are not automatically uploaded to our servers. Export anything you need before uninstalling or clearing app data.
How do I create or edit a report?
Select “New Report,” enter the client, service address, date, and notes, then save. Tap an existing report to edit it. Swipe left or use the delete button to remove it; a short undo option is provided.
How do I add photos and export a PDF?
In the report editor, capture or select images under Before Photos and After Photos. Save the report, tap its PDF icon to preview, then use the top buttons to share or print.
What if camera or photo access is denied?
Open your device settings, select Clean Report, and allow Camera or Photos access. Return to the app and try again. Denying these permissions does not affect report features that do not use photos.
How do I delete all local data?
Open Settings, select “Delete All Local Data,” and confirm. This permanently removes all reports and app-stored photos on the device. Purchase and export entitlement is not reset.
How do free exports and the one-time purchase work?
The free experience includes 2 successful PDF shares or prints. A non-consumable one-time purchase unlocks unlimited exports and is not a subscription. Use the purchasing platform account to restore it after reinstalling or changing devices.
What should I do about a purchase issue?
Confirm that your device uses the platform account that made the purchase and try Restore Purchases. If the issue continues, email us with your device model and OS version. Never send passwords or complete payment details.
